UFO, LIES and $$$.

The Ufo-fantasists and neo-cultists do NOT rule the Market, on the contrary the Markets rules them.
IF they find that SOMETHING they write SELLS WELL, they will insist in that line of thought.
This market includes books, DVDs, Galactic Diplomacy Diplomas and...you name it.
Capitalist rule is this: If it sells is good and true.
If you believe I am wrong, forget about all this, but if you think that I am right, there are things you can do.
First of all, do not buy in the Internet.
Instead go to a good book-seller and SEE what is in a book before buying it.
Same can be said about DVDs and "snake oils".
Do some research about names and professions. You will find that many self-proclaimed "professors" and "gurus" show faked backgrounds.
Link below gives some ideas about this:

http://www.ufowatchdog.com/index.htm

Always, always ask questions, questions like:

How do you know?
Who told you so?
How reliable are your sources?
Is the whole scientific establishment compromised in a giant Cover-Up? If the answer is yes, why and how the secret is kept?

Of course there are many more questions, and probably you can find some more effective than these.
But please, remember this: Do not buy the "snake-oil" sold by UFO Pundits and self-proclaimed "Wise Men".

Send this message to others, with or without my name. I

Ufology: a promising market?

Dear friends and foes.

The World Economy is not working, and many will look for new ways to make a couple of bucks extra.
That's why UFO market is growing , but also becoming a competitive environment.
New Armchair ufologists will do some marketing research in their Computers and will try to find what sells fast and what doesn't.
This will have consequences:
Marketing will show what the consumers expect and what they don't.
So, those who want to remain productive, will need to review their rhetoric and perhaps change them.
Also, is possible that some big money will go into the UFO market and make some new things.
After all, Market is Everything in Capitalism.
Why not some software for the detection of UFOs? Someone will invent it, perhaps, even if there are no UFOs to detect.
If it is nece$$$ary, they will invent the UFO's

Ufologists and the "Nothing Happens Syndrome"

The big enemy of the mystic Ufologists, Exopoliticians and UFO New Agers is not the cabal or the Shadow Government but TIME.
As time goes on, day after day, week after week, the promises of Disclosure, ET arrival or Spiritual Change remain unfulfilled. This is natural for Rational Ufologists, of course.
Because of this Nothing Happens Syndrome, I think that mystic ufologists will need to change their rhetoric.
The EXO discourse is founded in variations of the fallacy called Post hoc ergo propter hoc. Basically this fallacy forces unrelated events to look like cause and effect.
Kind of "Obama meeting with the President of X country, indicates that Disclosure is near. "
"Oil Spilling will force the ETs to do something", etc.
This rhetoric is weak. The Big Contact doesn't happen, and of course there is no Disclosure and never will be such thing. (There is nothing to disclose)
Consequently, the UFO Gurus will need to change their strategy, if they want to keep their followers interested.
What will be the new rhetoric? Probably Religion. The ETs will not contact us openly. They will guide us spiritually to a New Golden Era and AFTER our spiritual transformation they will come and show themselves.
This gives the UFO gurus more time. After all, the Christians are waiting the Second Coming of Jesus from the beginnings of Christianity.
We can say that Barbara Marciniak saw this from the beginning and made big $ with her Pleiadean New Age Books.
Remember please, that the strategy grounded on a battle between the "cabal" and the good ETs will show in the end that the cabal is winning the war.
Talking about aliens is OK, but people needs something more than talk, and we know that there will not be something more.
To make it short, the Cosmic Gurus will disappear from the market, OR they will need to forget their pseudo-science and go into Religion, because Religion is the only human invention that can justify the Nothing Happens Syndrome. Religion is a Perpetual Promise.

Cabal Mythology: an Exercise in Futility

Let us think about this:
Boylan is forced to recognize that the Cabal is all powerful in agents, control of institutions and technology.
But, IF this is true, THEN the Star Nations are (as always) a total failure.
Same can be said about the "Altimarians" , who came here ( according to Richard Boylan)to solve our environmental problems.
Also, IF the Cabal is all powerful, and is so worried about Boylan's nonsense, they would perhaps do something "strong" right?
But this mass of contradictions and the total lack of any direct of indirect evidence, shows the intellectual level of the people who believes the nonsense of the self proclaimed councilor of earth.

The only all powerful thing here is called SELF-DECEPTION

WHAT IS RATIONAL UFOLOGY..?

Dear friends of Rational Ufology.

We must always keep this in mind: For us, the definition of Ufology includes not only the UFO phenomenon, but the impact of this phenomenon in our human culture.
We know that other than some sightings and detections of the Unidentified Elements (not necessary "objects"), the rest is absolutely hypothetic in the best option, and "snake oil" profiteering for worst.

Of course, since very little is known of the UFO phenomenon, is perfectly logic to suggest hypothesis. Nothing wrong IF we clarify that our ideas are hypothetical.
Those who tell us that they know the "whole truth and nothing but the truth" MUST give evidences of what they say OR recognize the hypothetical nature of their rhetoric.

However, if the "snake oil" sellers' purpose is to invent a new UFO Religion based in Faith, they should be clear about this. They have the right to create new religions.
We, Rational Ufogists have also the right to ask questions, particularly if the " UFO Reverends" try to manipulate science, history and politics to serve their own agenda.

Aliens as Memes

Disregarding the problem of the existence or nonexistence of Extraterrestrial entities visiting our planet, we can say that the whole Ufology is not only a Meme but a Galaxy of memes.
A meme is a unit of cultural ideas, symbols or practices, which can be transmitted from one mind to another through writing, speech, gestures, rituals or other imitable phenomena. Supporters of the concept regard memes as cultural analogues to genes, in that they self-replicate.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meme
The original meme in the modern times, comes to life after Kenneth Arnold sighting of "flying saucers" in 1946. The end of the Second World War and the Cold War were the optimal conditions for the Ufological Meme, reinforced by films, books, presumed contactees and fantastic conspiracies.
The UFO meme, grew and become a self-replicating cultural Entity with extraordinary power. Also the original meme experienced mutations, becoming a real galaxy of memes.
I believe that the Internet gave to the Ufological Meme a new power and stop it's weakness that was evident in the seventies.
However, the UFO-Aliens subculture has little if any impact in the general public.
UFOs do not make News. The Ufological Galaxy of memes exists only in the Internet.
Books about the presumed 2012 Catastrophe or the pleiadean messages of Barbara Marciniak belong to the ET meme, but ALSO to the New Age rhetoric.
The 'news" about ETs, cosmic messages and eventual disclosure are created inside the UFO subculture.
Is what I call the "Nothing Happens Syndrome".
Professionals inside the UFO subculture are forced to keep things going on. They need to keep people interested in the Phenomenon, and waiting for something to happen.
Practically any event becomes related to the imaginary Disclosure. A breakfast in the UN becomes a multinational secret conference about Extraterrestrials.
Some Gurus of the Ufological subculture however, create sects with an obvious cultist orientation, and Excommunicate all those who disagree with their Orthodoxy of demand Evidences. The UFO cults work through Faith, never Fact. The self-proclaimed Cosmic Guru or Contactee is the one and only who KNOWS.
Science is denied, discussions are baned.
"The show must go on" because if it stops, profits also stop.
Now also some of these pseudo-ufologist look for alternatives like Healers, Theosophy, and Conferences about Subterranean Civilizations under the Titicaca Lake in Bolivia.
Perhaps the Ufological Meme will end in a latter days New Age,
Of course your ideas are welcome, even if they are opposite. After all, I have nothing to sell.

Dr. Salla Wishful Thinking...or "snake oil"

Here we have Dr. Salla.s new contribution to the EXAMINER. My observations observations between line in bold and italics

The BP Gulf Oil leak continues to arouse global concern as its toxic effects
threaten not only the Gulf of Mexico, but also the Atlantic Ocean itself. Worst
case scenarios project the entire planet’s oceans being contaminated for years
if not decades to come if the spill continues unabated. Humanity stands on the
brink of environmental catastrophe if radical solutions don’t quickly emerge.

Agree, and that's why we, humans must not watch the skyes but our Earth, understanding that "snake oil " will not solve our problems.

Albert Einstein once said “we cannot solve our problems with the same thinking
we used when we created them.”
This is the classic logical fallacy called Ad Autoritatem , consisting in appeal to authorities to push ideas and fantasies that have nothing to do with Tesla or Einstein. In other words selling their "snake oil" or dolphin wisdom in the name of Einstein...bravo Dr. Salla.

The idea of using fossil fuels for our
civilization’s ever increasing energy needs is the kind of thinking that made
it possible for the risky deep water drilling practices that have created the
oil spill crisis. We need some radical new thinking about how to generate
energy for our burgeoning global civilization.
We need "some" new radical thinking: "Some" Dr. Salla? What means "some"?
Thinking that takes us into the
realm of new energy technologies developed by pioneers such as Nikola Tesla,
and what is used by extraterrestrial civilizations visiting our world.
Again the Ad Authoritatem fallacy. Perhaps Nikola Tesla and Albert Einstein deserve a little respect?
As wemake the transition from a Type 0 civilization based on fossil fuels, into a
Type 1 global civilization using new energy technologies, we need to consult
with and learn from extraterrestrials civilizations that have traveled the road
before us.
Of course this have the same value that praying to the Angels or the Saints. EVIDENCES Dr. Salla?
We simply need to open ourselves to radical new ways of thinking
about how advanced technologies and extraterrestrial life can assist our
planetary transition through crises such as the Gulf Oil spill. The articles in
this edition of the Exopolitics Journal provide a new way of thinking about
planetary issues from the perspective of alien life observing our world,
wishing to assist us, and the challenges of extraterrestrial disclosure.
Again Dr. Salla, do you have any minimal evidence of alien life observing our world and wishing to assist us? If you have some evidence please, share it with us. No...no "anonymous sources" or discredited whistleblowers or New Age nonsense. I mean EVIDENCES.
If you do not have something to show, remember the Middle East Proverb: Men are SLAVES of what they say, and MASTERS of their Silence.
